Except for velvety patches on their ears, faces and tails, Mickey and Lupi are covered by only a soft, fine peach fuzz that is imperceptable from a distance.  Their skin is enchangingly soft and warm, like nothing you’ve ever experienced; gentle wrinkles cover their heads, and adorable folds appear on the legs, shoulders and haunches when the cats change positions, groom, or stretch - as well as with the playful encouragement of our eager hands!

They are tremendously affectionate and interactive, with one another, and with us. They command human interaction, and are unbelievably determined to be glued to our ankles, laps, backs, or shoulders. Mickey is our “little helper” - those of you who share your life with cats know what we mean - but both Mickey and Lupi’s sweetly incessant desire to participate actively in everything we do sometimes requires that they be sent to their room, just so we can get things accomplished!

They are spirited and intelligent, and are constantly chattering, singing, playing and exploring. They are acrobatic, muscular and agile little elves, and love to fetch toys, climb, jump, wrestle and perform breathtaking arial leaps.

They have special needs, however, and are highly dependent upon us to care for them properly. As endlessly entertaining as they are (we barely watch television!), having Sphynx in your life takes quite a commitment of attention, love and care, not to mention the initial financial investment - they are very expensive.

These loving, affectionate and interactive cats enhance our life so beautifully. We can't even imagine what it would be like without them. The Sphynx is a very special breed. It is difficult, without experiencing them, to understand the dependence, generosity and dedication these cats exhibit.  They are truly innocent, sensitive, trusting, faithful, intuitive little creatures, who bring us such joy and through whom the Lord God has taught us so many lessons.
